SmartMED Drive-Thru is in network with most commercial insurance plans and is classified as a “primary care” with many insurance companies. Our goal is to keep medical care affordable.
For those without insurance, our self-pay fees are transparently listed below.
Primary Care New Patient Appointment
New Patient Appointment: $145
Additional fees will apply if any procedures are completed. Ex. Cervical Exam and PAP, EKG, etc.
Primary Care Follow Up Appointment
Primary Care Follow Up Appointment: $95
If a physical evaluation and labwork are not needed, you are welcome to choose a virtual appointment. If this is your preference, please note that when scheduling the visit. You will be sent a link a few moments before your appointment time from a HIPAA compliant text messaging system to join the video call.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
We believe that certain medications are best managed by providers who specialize in the conditions they are prescribed to treat. This allows for appropriate ongoing monitoring, continuity of care, and access to the full range of treatment options available.
Annual Physical + Labwork Recommendations
Annual Physical: $145 + Cost of Labs
The Annual Physical is a full body check-up, which includes a discussion regarding your overall health and any current conditions. Standard lab work will be recommended. All lab work costs will be in addition to the Annual Physical fee. Pricing can be found under the SmartLABS tab of the website.

Do I come through the drive-thru for primary care?
SmartMED’s primary care is in a traditional medical setting. Please park in front of the building and come inside. We’re looking forward to seeing you.
What should I bring to my first visit?
For your first visit, please bring your ID and insurance card (if you would like to use insurance). We also ask that you please complete the forms that are texted to you ahead of your visit to ensure that we stay on schedule.
How do I schedule an appointment?
It’s easy to schedule an appointment. You can either call in or click the link on the primary care page to see availability and quickly schedule your own visit.
Are Telehealth or virtual visits available?
If a physical evaluation and bloodwork is not needed, follow-ups can be scheduled as a telehelath visit for your convenience. Please note that these are billed the same as an in person visit.
Do you accept insurance?
We are in network with most commercial plans. For the most accurate information, you can call the Member Services line on the back of your insurance card to ensure that SmartMED is in network for you.
Do you offer self-pay options?
Yes, we offer self-pay options for all services. All self-pay fees for service are transparently listed on each page of the website. You can also visit the “insurance and self-pay” area for information as well.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
No. Managing controlled substances well requires a level of ongoing monitoring, refill coordination, and follow-up that goes beyond what our model is built for. We’d rather be upfront about that than do it halfway. If you rely on these medications, we recommend working with a provider whose practice is specifically set up for that kind of care.
