SmartMED such a gift to the Roswell community! I’ve stopped going to our pediatrician when our kids get sick. We don’t have to schedule an appointment, they aren’t sitting near other sick kids, and I can take all of the kids without us leaving the car. The whole SmartMed team is caring and thoughtful. The absolute best urgent care experience I’ve ever had! I will never go anywhere else. As a mom, I typically can’t take care of myself because I don’t have childcare for my 1 year old. Now I can address my health needs while he chills in his car seat. It’s perfect!
It’s simple. Just imagine Chick-Fil-A, but for medical care! Drive-up to the registration desk where we’ll check you in using a QR code. Moments later you’ll move forward to a nurse who will ask you the reason for your visit, get pertinent medical history, vitals, allergies and your pharmacy of choice. Shortly thereafter, you’ll move forward to our medical provider who will evaluate you and recommend any testing needed (run immediately, on site). If no testing is needed, and a diagnosis requires prescription medication, we will immediately send the scripts electronically to your pharmacy of choice. If testing was required, we’ll call you within the hour with results and a treatment plan. In either situation, your time with us will be less than 10 minutes once you check in.
For your first visit, please bring your ID and insurance card (if you will be using insurance).
Yes! We care for all children over the age of one. For those under one, we recommend CHOA Urgent Care or your pediatritian.
Yes, SmartMED is in network with nearly all commercial insurance plans. We currently accept: United Healthcare, Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and Humana. Also in network is Medicare, Medicaid, Oscar, Amerigroup, Ambetter, Caresource, Pruitt, PNOA and Wellstar Health Plans.

We do not take appointments. Simply pull up under the awning of SmartMED at a time that’s convenient for you. Most often, wait times to be seen are less than 5 minutes. During the flu season, wait times may be a little longer.
