In March of 2022, patients began requesting health and wellness services not covered through insurance. As a result, SmartMED, LLC. began SmartMED Health and Wellness, a subsidiary that offers IV hydration, weight loss medication and vitamin injections.
Opportunity:
We are searching for the right candidate to operate our growing Health and Wellness area, with primary oversight of the weight loss division (specifically, Semaglutide). Eighty percent of the daily responsibilities of this position will be in the Health and Wellness business. Approximately twenty percent of the role will be time spent assisting with SmartMED Drive-Thru Medical Care’s administrative needs.
This person will report to the CEO and/or Medical Director and will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
SmartMED Health and Wellness (Semaglutide): 80%
· Patient education
· Patient communication (responding to inquiries)
· Medication/IV Hydration administration (when needed)
· Inventory management
· Maintaining medical charts
· Collecting payment
SmartMED Drive-Thru Medical Care: 20%
· Answering incoming calls; taking messages
· Scanning consent and medical history forms into the EHR (Athena)
· Directing patients into the evaluation room, when needed
· Assisting with procedures, when available/needed
The candidate will work from the Roswell location at 612 Holcomb Bridge Rd. Roswell, GA 30075. While most of the time will be spent indoors, the candidate will be required to provide medication injections car-side out of doors, when needed.
Qualifications:
· Excellent communication skills
· Patient-centric; customer service oriented
· Team oriented; self-starter
· Clinical background (RN preferred) - minimum of 3 years’ experience
· Proficient with Word & Excel
Schedule:
Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
9:00AM – 4:00PM (can be flexible)
Pay:
$30-$40 per hour, depending on experience.
