Frequently asked questions

We are in network with most commercial insurance plans, as well as goverment plans.  Please call the phone number on the back of your insurance card to confirm.  The physician’s name is Lucas Lathrop (NPI:  1336185016) and the office name is SmartMED, LLC.

SmartLABS is self-pay, only.

If you want to see if insruance will cover GLP-1s, please book an appointment with our primary care provider.  They will work on pre-authorizations with your insurance company and provide you with a recommendation on whether you will be able to use insurance.

For those that are unable to use insurance, we offer Semaglutide and Tirzepatide at self-pay pricing rates. Patients can either come each week for the medication to be administered, or take home a months’ supply at a time to self-administer.  

Yes, it is our goal to be able to offer care to all people.  Because of this, we have worked hard to become in network with all plans.  Currently, we are in network with:  Amerigroup, Medicaid, Ambetter, PeachState and Caresource.  Please verify coverage with your carrier before your visit.
