Monday – Friday   

8:45 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Summary: 

SmartMED Drive-Thru is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team.  The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to all patients over one year of age, in our fast-paced drive-thru setting. You will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute and non-life-threatening illnesses, injuries, and conditions.

As part of our team, you must demonstrate a commitment to delivering patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency in a high-volume environment. The provider must be friendly, caring, and able to work collaboratively with our medical team to ensure each patient receives timely, compassionate care.

Because we are a drive-thru medical clinic, applicants will need to be comfortable working outdoors (under the canopy) to care for patients.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions including minor injuries, infections, and acute illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventative health practices.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a high level of care and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted FNP or PA license in GA
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a      similar fast-paced setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach to care.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with team members.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, 1099 Contractor for year one with potential of moving to W-2 year two.

Job Title: Medical Assistant or Nurse

Because we are a drive-thru medical clinic, applicants will need to be comfortable working outdoors (under the canopy) to care for our patients.  

Core Responsibilities: 

• Greet patients at the car door and confirm identity.
• Obtain patient history; assess/triage patient, measure vital signs, and record information in the patient chart in real time (Athena EMR)
• Prepare lab samples.
• Position instruments and equipment and hand to physician as directed. Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after use.
• Assist physician with any collections of samples and procedures.
• Perform patient call backs (as needed).
• Monitor disposable inventory and alert management of orders needed for medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
• Assist registration staff, and perform additional clerical duties as necessary.

Experience:  

• A minimum of 2 years of recent medical experience and a degree/certification in a health-related field. 
• On-site training will be provided.

Qualifications: 

• Proficiency with Word, Excel, EMR entry 
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential
• High School graduate
• Ability to draw blood, begin an IV, administer medications is a plus.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our growing team at SmartMED Drive-Thru, a modern urgent care clinic redefining patient convenience and quality of care. The ideal candidate will be a dependable and detail-oriented individual who excels in multitasking and thrives in a dynamic environment. In addition to performing venipuncture and managing specimen collection, this team member will support general clinic operations and contribute to a superior patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Phlebotomy & Clinical Duties:

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection on patients of all ages with care and professionalism
• Prepare, label, and ship specimens to multiple laboratory facilities according to established      protocols
• Ensure proper patient identification and maintain accurate specimen tracking logs
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance in phlebotomy and specimen handling areas

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple lab send-outs and administrative tasks
